About Us

Patty is a designer and chocolate freak who loves experimenting in the kitchen. Her healthy baking blog is pattycake. Crispin loves Patty's cookies, playing deep music and riding waves. He tweets too.

We currently live in the tropics where baking is really hot (so we do it in the mornings). We enjoy coming up with great ideas and designing websites in the afternoons.

We're into living a harmonious balanced life, with a few healthy indulgences, and are happier with less stuff. However, we love using quality tools, made from healthy materials that are built to last a lifetime (or longer). We love baking from scratch, using seasonal, local, fair trade and organic ingredients whenever possible. (We love baking with ingredients from the garden even better!) We believe in community, diversity, creativity, and the love that is shared through baking.
