"Yesterday I tried my luck with a recipe from the Taste of Home cookie magazine and it was a hit. ...these cookies are so easy to make that everyone can make them. Oh, and they are so good and moist, it’s so hard to stop after eating one. You’ll come back for seconds and trust me..."
These are lovely - they remind me of the classic sugar cookies my Grandma used to bake every year. :)
Mmmm... buttery brioche, slathered in tart, tangy cranberry jam. Just saying it makes my mouth start salivating. And this ain't no poor man's brioche either. Lulu goes all out and does the rich-man's-75%-butter brioche, and tops it with cranberry jam made from scratch. Now that's what I'm talking about!
The winner of the $25 Bake it Pretty gift card is..... comment #87!
So what was her favorite festive cookie? "My favorite holiday cookie to make is a Linzer cookie recipe that my mom's been making since she was a little girl in Germany!" Sweet! :)

Amanda meets Bakerella, the Cake Pop Queen, and learns how to make these super-cute decadent chocolate covered cake balls. Chocolate truffle-like confections filled with cake make a very sweet seasonal gift, don't you think? :)
This gorgeous focaccia is calling my name! Adriana says it's a thinner bread because of the addition of whole wheat flour. "I feel like it adds a depth of flavor to it," she says. "Of course, the olive oil does a great part of that job."
A sweet mint alternative to tangy holiday peppermint - these rich and decadent chocolate mint cupcakes have a present, but not overpowering, festive feel. The best part? The sweet, smooth, and light peppermint Swiss meringue buttercream. They may take a lot of dedication in the kitchen, but they are worth it completely.
