The lemon cupcake and lemon buttercream are bright yet subtle, the white chocolate centre is like a sweet little surprise, and the raspberry is the perfect compliment to it all!

I cannot tell you how much fun I had making this cake! Every time I added a new bit of detail I knew I was on the path to awesomeness. I smiled the whole way through it, and when I sat back and admired the finished product, my eyes started to well-up because I knew that the birthday girl would FREAK OUT!

I was challenged to make "Star Trek Boston Cream Cupcakes" by a friend, so I did, and they turned out fantastic!
