Chocolate Hazelnut Gianduja Cake

At Piece of Cake, we have this -obsession- with chocolate and hazelnuts. So for my mom's birthday, of course she wanted a Gianduja cake - chocolate and hazelnuts melded into one giant pastry. Although the recipe comes from my much loved cookbook, "Sky High: Irresistible Triple-Layer Cakes", it didn't live up to my expectations. But that means that the perfect chocolate hazelnut cake recipe is still waiting for me somewhere...
