Not to brag, but you know what they say... everything in Texas is bigger and better. I'll admit that the name is what drew me to these, but one look at the recipe and it's difficult to walk away. These pastries start with a toasted hazelnut dough, are filled with a silky chocolate ganache and then topped with "Texas Big Hair" meringue. Big flavor, big presence!

As a side note: I LOVE that these are called "Texas Big Hairs." If you've ever been to Texas, you know there's a valid reason for this affectionate label.
