Simple Silicone Spatula

There are a ton of spatulas to choose from these days. I'm partial to the simple 1-piece silicone spatulas. 1-piece means they're easy to clean (no grooves or corners to hide bits of goo). This 12" Trudeau Silicone Spatula is cheery and functional, ideal for dealing with large bowls of batter - perfect for folding chocolate into a chocolate pavlova.

I also like this all-purpose black Orka spatula, as I have a white silicone spatula that has gotten discolored over the years.

Both Orka and Trudeau also make small slim spatulas (perfect for getting marmalade or nut butters out of jars), and they also make nice spoon spatulas (which are pretty handy for mixing and folding).
