Also known as Italian apple cake, I imagine fairies bake fantastic fall cakes like this one: "Gooey caramelized apples and warm cinnamon and moist crumbs of cake and the rich flavor of fig, with added texture from the pine nuts and a lighter citrus note from the lemon... this cake is sugary, dense, and bursting with flavor."
