I'm one of "those people." You know the ones. The ones that hold up the line in the coffee shop because their drinks resemble something closer to a gourmet milkshake than a cup of coffee. Yep, that's me.

The truth is, I don't really drink coffee unless it's all dolled up. And caramel is my favorite add-in. I do, however, adore crème brûlée, and I'm speaking from experience when I say that Kocinera's coffee-caramel combination is a winner. Two smooth flavors. One bold, one sweet. It's crème brûlée, all dressed up for the season!

I was very excited to see these granola bars pop into my inbox - they are sooooo the kind of baked good I go gaga for. (Thanks Maria!) They have 4 of my favorite things (granola, pumpkin, spice, and chocolate) packed into a healthy sweet easy-to-make treat you can take just about anywhere.

The funny thing, is I concocted some very similar "pumpkin oat chocolate chunk cookies" the night before, and thought (as good as they were) they would be even better as a bar. Great minds think alike love pumpkin, chocolate, and granola apparently! ;)

I love this simple "crisp for two" - so easy, versatile, healthy, and delicious. Here, made with the last of the season's peaches and blueberries, but of course it can be made with whatever fruit you fancy. I can totally picture this made with apples and cinnamon for the perfect fall breakfast. Or with fresh figs... mmm figs... :)

You can also make it gluten-free by using gluten-free oats, and vegan by subbing the butter for your favorite vegan spread or flavorful coconut oil.
